Capsize - BRAVO ZULU

Capsize training is an important part of all maritime special forces. Due to some rollovers with rigid hull inflatable boats in the past, the corresponding units developed a training to rescue team members trapped under the boat in cooperation with the maritime team at OffTEC Base.
In theory and practice, the comrades work out a procedure under guidance to determine as quickly as possible completion after surfacing or the necessity to rescue team members from under the boat.
Training
- basic knowledge and analysis of past accidents
- best managing practice for capsize accidents
- drowning and hypothermia
- indoor capsize with a 9 meter deployment RIB
- different capsize scenarios / difficulty levels
- debriefing and evaluation of each capsizing incident
