Declaration of accessibility
The OffTEC Base GmbH & Co. KG is committed to making https://www.offtec.de/en accessible in accordance with the national and European legal provisions of the BFSG.
Stand of accessibility
The website is partly accessible under the BFSG. The site is currently undergoing a comprehensive redesign, in particular with regard to accessibility. We are still awaiting the implementation of the new Shopware version 6.7.0, which for technical reasons is not yet possible. This new version will bring extensive accessibility improvements. As soon as the update process is complete, the website will be largely barrier-free.

The following areas are not yet fully accessible:
- Keyboard operability
The reachability of sub-menu items in the main navigation via tab navigation is not yet fully realized. We are actively working on a solution. - Insufficient contrast
Not all content meets the required contrast ratios. The design is currently being revised and will be made accessible shortly. - Missing alternatives for videos and images
Some videos currently lack textual alternatives. Alt-text, captions and audio descriptions are missing. - Accessibility of forms
Some forms are not correctly labelled (e.g. for autocomplete). Error messages are not yet accessible. In the ordering process, not all form fields are correctly marked up for the autofill function. Some form errors lack title attributes and submit buttons. This area is currently being revised. - Images with text information
Some images contain relevant text information that is not yet available in alternative form. - Minimum size of interactive elements
- Not all interactive controls currently meet the recommended minimum size of 24 px in height or width. We are working on a solution here as well.
- Dialog labels
Not all dialog elements are labelled as required to make them accessible to screen readers. - Non-accessible code semantics
Some code areas are not yet implemented accessibly. For example, some lists still contain child elements other than <li>, which can cause issues with screen readers. There are also cases of multiple links pointing to the same destination. The heading hierarchy is incorrect on some pages. - Accessible links
The purpose of the link is not yet clear from the link text in all cases. Some links also lack link text and alt text. Some links are only distinguishable by color. - Minimum size of interactive elements
Not all interactive controls currently meet the recommended minimum size of 24 px in height or width.
